Jerk-Style Bean Burger
These are flavorful and tasty jerk-style bean burger for the entire family to enjoy.

1 onion (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon Noxx Caribbean Taste Calypso Jerk Seasoning
2 teaspoon solive oil
2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
9 oz cooked lentils
14 oz tin red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
Olive oil spray
Salt to taste
1.Heat the oil in a frying pan over a high heat. Add the onion and cook for about 4 minutes until soften. Add the garlic and cook for about 2 minutes. Stir in the Noxx Caribbean Taste Calypso Jerk Seasoning, season to taste with salt and cook for about 1 minute. Take off the heat.
2.Pat the kidney beans dry, then put them into a food processor and add the onion mixture. Pulse to combine, retaining some texture. Transfer to a large bowl and mix in the lentils and more salt to taste and pepper.
3.With wet hands divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. Lay them on a plate and chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
4.Preheat the oven to 392F or 200C. Heat a frying pan over a high heat. Once hot, spray the surface with olive oil, then add the patties. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side, spraying with a little more olive oil before you turn them. Transfer the patties to a baking tray and cook in the oven for about 10 minutes.
5.Get your favorite buns, condiments and vegetables to make your sandwich and enjoy.
